Tips for moving

Moving day

Wake up early
Check if your cellphones are fully charged and keep your charger near
Check if the parking places in front of the house are empty and if so potentially put your own car(s) in these spots
Make sure you keep all the belongings you need during that day and that should not be moved in the van in one bag
Let any friends that agreed to help move come 30 minutes before the moving team
Make coffee for everyone
Make lunch for everyone. Friends cannot help you with an empty stomach

Directly discuss with the team leader of the moving crew what you expect and what they can expect from you in terms of possible help
Immediately note down the phone number of the team leader and give him your phone number
At the end of the move, complete the work form properly
Check if there is no noticeable damage and note them down on the work form
The moving costs are paid in cash. Request a receipt and an invoice.
